How La Table Came to Be

La Table was born from Chef Pierre-Emmanuel Fritsch's desire to create a space where the precision of French haute cuisine could meet the warmth and authenticity of Vietnamese culture. After more than two decades in Michelin-starred kitchens across Europe, he found himself drawn to the vibrant ingredients and rich culinary traditions of Vietnam.

In 2023, nestled in the heart of Hoi An's Ancient Town, La Table opened its doors. The restaurant occupies a beautifully restored space with two entrances — 78A Phan Chu Trinh and 111 Tran Hung Dao — each offering a distinct arrival experience into the same intimate dining room.

From the very first evening, our vision has remained unchanged: to honour the timeless elegance of French cuisine while embracing the extraordinary ingredients and spirit of Central Vietnam. Every plate tells a story of two cultures converging at one table.
